What They Are
Scions are vampiric creatures that resemble people and vampires entirely, except for the fact that they have virtually none of a vampire’s weaknesses. Supposedly, the only way to kill a scion is to behead it, but in reality their life spans are merely unusually long. Breeds of wolf-scion vary depending on where they live, and their wolf halves are real breeds of wolf, such as grey wolves, Ethiopian wolves, etc. The production of the mixed breed of wolf-scion is yet unknown.

Appearance
Eyes
· Retain wolf-like shape and style while in scion form
· Must have some blue (ex. Outai and Taizen’s ice blue, Ritoru’s blindness, Kyoumou’s speckles)
Hair
· Alpha’s hair length reaches lower back or longer
· Alpha’s pups’ hair is just past shoulders
· Other members’ hair is shoulder-length or shorter
· Lone wolf-scions generally choose shorter hair due to the fact that long hair gets in the way
· Hair is generally pulled into a half-ponytail
Ears
· Long and elf-like in scion form, due to wolf ears being triangular and pointed
· Children’s ears are short and pointed
· Females’ are thinner and more slender than males’
Nails
· Long and sharpened, like claws
· Sharp enough to pierce flesh
Fangs
· Elongated canines in scion form, due to vampiric nature as well as wolf features
· Used to rip and tear prey, as well as for fighting
Body
· Lean and muscular, like a wolf
· Rarely overweight, as wolves are constantly moving on patrol of their territory
Scars
· Wounds from fights heal in three days, no matter the intensity
· No markings whatsoever are usually left behind
· Scars are only received from other wolf-scions

Life Expectancy
Since wolf-scions are a mix of wolves, with relatively short lives, and scions, with extremely long lives, they live to between 30 and 35 years of age.

Aging Process
Wolves grow quickly, as do wolf-scions. But when they reach a year or two, in their scion form they appear to stop aging. Their bodies merely slow down the aging process. The age they look varies from individual to individual (ex. Kyoumou and Taizen: 24, Outai: 19, Ritoru: 16/17). Once a wolf-scion reaches 25 years, their body resumes its growth.

Feeding
Wolf-scions retain their wolf half’s taste for food, and will consume ungulates, rodents, birds, or any other animal native to where their pack abides.

Breeding
Sex between wolf-scions in scion form consists of teasing each other before biting one another’s neck and drinking the blood. It escalates from there. In wolf form, it’s the natural process that normal wolves follow. Sex as scions is much more sensual and personal, which is why wolf-scions prefer to perform it that way. The gestational period lasts about four months, longer than natural wolves, and usually results in a single birth. Rarely are two babies produced, but it can happen. The baby is born as a wolf.

Scion Blood
A baby wolf-scion remains in its natural wolf form until a near-death experience or a period of abnormally high emotion occurs. Because of this, wolf-scion packs allow a baby to grow untouched until it is about six months old before a ceremony is performed where the child’s parents and/or siblings beat it nearly to death. It is a horrible time for the young wolf-scion, but a necessary undertaking for its body to realise its potential.

Heirlooms
Each pack may have a special item that each member carries at all times. This item could be a necklace, an earring, anything. Most of the time, this "heirloom" has a certain property that enables its owner to gain an ability of sorts. For example, Kyoumou's pack all have a silver wolfhead pendant necklace that gives them the ability to manipulate plants (use them in fights, growth, and death). Each member of Kyoumou's pack specializes in growing a specific flower. Ex. Outai and white lilies. This flower also represents Taizen, because the necklace Outai owns was once her mother's.
